Our Zumba group has met up at Shugah Hill Bakery on Sundays after class and love the large table that allows us to sit and chat along with enjoy coffee and pastries (there are so many to choose from & made on the premises). Often, some of us are grabbing more to take home to our families. This week,I ordered a birthday cake for my 10 yr old granddaughter who was very specific in her request and their baker “nailed it “. The cake was 3 tier high with delicious vanilla pastry cream filling & topped with buttercream frosting. It was so nicely decorated we hated to cut into it but when we did we enjoyed the most delicious & moist marble cake. My granddaughter loved her cake. Kudos to Shugah Hill & 5 stars too!

Cold, Nor’easter-y morning. Coffee is excellent. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste it. The vanilla bean scone is lovely. Bringing home a raspberry almond bar and a shortbread. Bonus: they have gluten free cookies from a separate facility that I’m bringing home for the fam. (The staff are friendly and welcoming too.)

My fiancé and I discovered this bakery a few weeks ago and we were blown away the moment we walked in. The level of service was top notch and the food was even better. This is now our go to bakery for a sweet treat!

Shugah Hill Bakery is a local gem. You can’t go wrong with anything you may purchase there. I have had their pies, sweets, the coffee cake is just like what my Grammy would bring from NY when I was young. And now the bagels and homemade cream cheese are phenomenal! Not to mention their lattes. You don’t need all the sugary syrup. Yum! The owners and staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. You just can’t go wrong!

This is the absolute cutest bakery! The owners are all amazing, lovely women who make the space feel so welcoming and homey. The Italian cookies, biscotti, and cakes are heavenly and the pies are out of this world!! Do not miss a chance to grab yourself a key lime pie and thank me later. Highly recommend if you’re looking for just a single sweet treat or a few to impress friends and family.

This is the best bakery on the south shore in my opinion. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and they actually care about how the product looks and tastes. I have worked at some of the best 5 star country clubs and hotels in the world (Charles Hotel, Barton Creek Country Club, etc.) and this is on par with what you can get there.

I recently stopped into Sugah hill to grab a birthday cake for my husband, we weren’t picky about what we wanted so I figured I would just grab anything from th case along with some other cookies etc. There was a great selection of cakes as well as cookies muffins and bars. The staff were honestly some of the most genuinely friendly and happy people I have come across in a store. I chose a chocolate cake from the case it was decorated in a modern and delightful way. It was OUTSTANDING. This cake was so fudgy but not dense somehow. And the chocolate flavor was very deep and multifaceted. Not flat. I also bought myself a vanilla cupcake to eat I am obsessed with vanilla and the cake and frosting were luscious. The texture was beyond moist and tasted of butter and vanilla I was in heaven. I bought a selection of cookies and some bars as well they were all too notch. I felt the love that went into these baked goods. It’s my new bakery 100%. Well done guys🥰

Stopped in to visit the pottery place next door and saw this adorable bakery. I saw a sign fresh bagels and decided to pop in for some. In the display case, they had a Key Lime Pie ($35), may be pricey... but it was made from scratch and authentic to the local flavor (being originally from the Florida Keys). 4.5 out of 5 stars. They offered Tuna & Chicken salad sandwiches and that intrigued me... for next time!! Highly recommend stopping in and supporting this local small business.
